A blog post from managing editor Debbie Hiott in Nov 2009 provided info about online corrections:
"Under our new online corrections policy, we are going to try to do a better job of owning up ... mistakes online. Now whenever we are making any correction that goes beyond a typo, we will not only fix the error in the copy but also append an update explaining that the original article was in error and it has been corrected. That way people are aware that something has been changed.
As always, please be sure to contact a reporter at the email address attached to the article if you find an error. And if you don’t get a satisfactory answer, email me at dhiott@statesman.com."
