ABC's Japan quake video: wrong place, time

Bug Type:  Simple Factual Error

The description for this video, capturing a few minutes of the killer earthquake that rocked Japan in March of 2011, reads: "Residents in Miyagi Prefecture run as debris falls from buildings." The trouble with the story is that the reporter on camera identifies herself as being in Yokohama City which is located in Kanagawa Prefecture (perhaps up to 200 miles away).

Sendai City in Japan's Miyagi Prefecture would have been the closest major city to the epicenter of the massive earthquake that triggered the devastating tsunami that swept the northeastern part of the country on March 11, 2011. While the video on the ABC news site of falling debris in the City of Yokohama is frightening enough, the severity of the shaking that day would have probably been much more intense in Sendai or any other location in Miyagi Prefecture.

I originally called this Wrong Place at the Wrong Time (like the idiom). I see it has a new name now but the time of the video is actually correct only the place is identified incorrectly. Maybe it would be better to delete the word "time" from the title.
