I'm currently working on developing a ProofReading Markup Language, which seems as though it would be a perfect fit for this service. Basically, it's an XML variant which will allow for sending corrections without needing the original source, and for applying those corrections to the source regardless of format (in principle).

And of course, a big part of the reason for my work on this is because I'd like to see all these errors corrected.
